The walls, floors and furniture are all made of timber.
A magnificent renovation project for chef Marc Veyrat's gourmet restaurant is all in timber. The gutters are made of timber from long, thin fir trees, with a groove to collect the water that runs off the shingles. The solid doors are made of timber, as are the hinges and purlins, which are assembled with wooden dowels. Even the locks are made of timber. The water pipes are made of rough larch logs several metres long, inspired by the traditions of old chalets.
